How to create a Bot with Bot Service (2 of 5)

  1. Now Open Azure Portal https://portal.azure.com/
  2. Click on Create a Resource
  3. Select AI + Cognitive Services
  4. Select Web App Bot
  5. Enter the name and other details as shown in screenshot below
  6. Select C# as Basic Template
  7. Click Select and Click Create
  8. Confirm that the bot has been deployed by checking the Notifications. The notifications will change from Deployment in progress…to Deployment succeeded. Click Go to resource button to open the bot’s resources blade.

Let us Test the Chat Bot.

  1. Open the Recently Create Bot
  2. Select “Test in Web Chat”
  3. And try sending few messages as shown below.

You can enter text to chat with your bot. If your bot supports speech, you can click the microphone button to talk to your bot. If your bot supports attachments, you can upload an attachment, such as an image. Learn how to add features to your bot with the Bot Builder SDK.
